8x8: Voicemails Not Received via Email

Modified on Mon, 17 Feb at 1:56 PM

Sometimes we stop receiving voicemail where before it had always worked without issue.

Voicemails are stored indefinitely and must be manually erased to make room for new voicemails once capacity has been reached.

If your voicemail box is at capacity, new voicemails will not be received and by extension, receiving a transcribed MP3 of that voicemail will no longer be sent to your email address.

8x8's support article How Do I Delete My Voicemails can teach you how to delete old voicemails to make more room for new messages.

There is an administrator-only option to automatically delete old voicemails after it has been emailed so that you do not have to deal with manually removing these if you choose not to. Please click here to open a ticket to request this feature be used on your 8x8 service if you'd prefer it over how it's working now.
