Welcome to the Robinson Park IT Department Knowledgebase. As part of our commitment to ensuring the privacy and security of all Robinson Park employees, we adhere to strict policies designed to protect your personal and professional information. Below, you will find a detailed explanation of our privacy policies and procedures.
Principle of Least Required Access
Our IT department operates on the principle of least required access. This means we only access the systems and information necessary to perform our job and resolve your issues. We take your privacy seriously and strive to minimize the scope of our access at all times.
Password Security
- Password Sharing: We will never ask for or share your passwords without explicit approval from your manager and IT, all via Ticketing.
Email Access
- Explicit Permission Required: We will only access your email account with your explicit permission. This permission must be documented as part of the support ticket.
- Access Expiration: Any granted access to your email will have a set expiration time of 12 hours unless otherwise declared in the ticket.
Transparency and Security
Our primary focus is on maintaining transparency and security in all our operations, including remote desktop access. Here’s how we ensure this:
- Documentation: All access permissions, actions taken, and communications are documented as part of the support ticket. This creates a clear record of what was done, why, and by whom.
- User Awareness: We believe in keeping you informed. If you have any questions or concerns about your privacy or our procedures, please do not hesitate to contact us.
